Carol Bartz from Autodesk was offered and accepted to become Yahoo!'s CEO, replacing Tery Semel."The King is dead! Long live the King!"

Is this good news? Well, it all depends on how we look at things and most important, on the results she will be able to deliver.

Some people say she's made of the right stuff for the job: the first day she showed up as a CEO at Autodesk, she was diagnosed with cancer. She took a month off for intensive chemio therapy and 30 days later sharp she showed up at work again. Every morning she first thew up in the parking lot and then went up to her office to lead Autodesk from a million-dollar company into a market leader.
